Introduction to Architecture

This course introduces the role of Architecture to an IT Department. It explains the position of architecture in the organisation as well as in IT.

Students should be familiar with Software Development principles. Students should also be familiar with one ore modelling techniques (Archimate, UML, BPMN, SBVR etc)

The course concentrates mostly on practitioners: (future) architects. What is my role, where do i stop, what kind of decisions should i make, how do i communicate my architecture, how do i help IT projects implementing my architecture, how do i govern my architecture etc
