EDC4IT is an instructor-led IT training and educational consulting company. We work with organisations, not individual learners, and we specialise in Kubernetes, DevOps, cloud-native and open-source technologies.

Our clients need their people to understand technology properly, not just learn which commands to run. For some that means one of our established courses. Others need training adapted to a particular team or environment, or a learning path that moves people from where they are today to where they need to be next.

We are European-based and work internationally, and we stay deliberately specialised and personal. Direct communication, flexible delivery, and training shaped around the real requirement rather than forced into a single format.

One layer deeper

“One layer deeper” is more than a tagline. It is how we think technical subjects should be taught.

Modern tools make complex technology easier to use. That is useful, but operating a tool is not the same as understanding what it does. Our instructors teach the technology itself and then go beneath it: what happens underneath, why it behaves as it does, how the pieces connect, and where it sits in the wider stack.

That understanding earns its keep when the familiar procedure stops working, when a team moves to a different platform, or when the technology itself changes. The aim is knowledge that stays useful beyond any one product, interface or certification.

Built around the team, not the catalogue

Our published courses are proven starting points, not rigid boundaries.

Some clients know exactly what they need. Others are adopting a new technology, preparing for a migration, bringing together people with different levels of experience, or building capability in stages. In those cases we adapt the scope, depth, sequence and delivery to the team and its objectives, while staying honest about what can realistically be achieved in the time available.

The way a course is delivered matters as much as its syllabus. We combine experienced instructors, substantial hands-on work, interactive groups and a fast, modern course-delivery and lab infrastructure built for practical technical training. Courses run online or onsite, with other arrangements where they make educational and practical sense.

We sell training, not software, so we have no product to push behind the advice we give. Our job is to help teams understand and adopt technology properly, and we price that sensibly for the depth and quality involved.
